Core Values

St. Simon Dallas strives to be a community of cross-bearers, seeking the good of one another. We are a new church, set in the Anglican tradition, with a view to be hospitable and accessible, in and for the city of Dallas, dialoguing with the culture of our day.

To that end, we place a high value on the following:

Historic Worship,
Living Faith

We worship God according to the Scriptures and the historic practices of the Church, trusting that ancient rhythms direct the affections of our hearts toward God and his kingdom.

Sacramental Life Together

We gather around Word and Table as the center of our common life, receiving grace that shapes who we are and how we live.

Soul Care

We believe disciples who pick up their cross and follow Jesus are formed over time through teaching, prayer, repentance, and obedience—not programs alone.

Deep Community
in a Fragmented City

We pursue genuine relationships marked by hospitality, mutual care, shared life, and an eagerness to bear one another’s burdens.

Jesus Thinking

We yearn to have the mind of Christ, to sacrifice our own rights and privileges for the sake of loving others as embodying the mission of God to the world.

Faithful Presence

We seek the flourishing of Dallas by serving our neighbors, loving the poor, and bearing witness to Christ in our vocations and neighborhoods.
